Leaving the Land of Lamenting

Description

Disciples of the Kingdom develop a spiritual discipline of continuing to look forward and forget the past (Isaiah 43:18; Philippians 3:13). We take responsibility for our choices, but do not let mistakes condemn or control us. We simply give them to the Lord and deepen our level of surrender to His will and Lordship. As we practice this, we “leave the land of lamenting,” and enter into new realms of thankfulness, faith, obedience and fruitfulness. Our past does not determine our future or our destiny! We receive God’s forgiveness and follow the pathway of redemption and fruitfulness. As we do this, we become ambassadors of the Kingdom of God and are able we help others.
